Responsibilities: Teach 15/16 semester hours per academic year at on-campus and off-campus locations at doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate levels and publish regularly in discipline. Courses are in the area of International Business and Marketing. All faculty members are expected to advise students, pursue research and scholarly activities, and participate in departmental, college, and university service.

Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate in Marketing and/or International Business from an AACSB accredited institution by May 2010; expertise in teaching courses in Marketing and International Business; collegiate teaching experience; evidence of scholarly activity; good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Design and teach primarily International Business courses at the Doctorate, MBA, and BBA levels and conduct high quality research in the area of Marketing and International Business. Dissertation proposal must be defended by 7/31/09 (for those without degree in hand). CSU has the following signature research areas and preference will be given to those who have research in the areas of health, and/or sustainable communities.

Department: The Department has 16 full-time faculty members and offers coursework at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.

College: The College of Business Administration has over 80 full-time faculty members. Its programs are accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels by AACSB. Enrollment in the College exceeds 2,200 students. Degrees offered by the College include the DBA, MBA, MLRHR, Master of Accountancy, Bachelor and Master of Computer Information Science, BBA, and a joint MBA-JD.

University: Cleveland State University enrolls approximately 16,000 students. It is located within walking distance of the downtown business and entertainment centers and has strong ties with the business and public sectors in Northeast Ohio.
