Position Summary
The Strategy Area at the Indian School of Business (ISB) invites applications for a position in the Strategy and Organization Area at the Assistant (tenure-track), Associate or Full Professor (tenured) level. We seek candidates with high research potential or achievement, and strong commitment to both research and teaching at the MBA level. ISB is research-intensive university located in Hyderabad, India, and its MBA program is rated 15th the FT world-wide rankings. ISB has a unique blend of resident and visiting faculty from our partner schools (Wharton, Kellogg and London Business School). Currently, the strategy area has 4 full-time resident faculty members in tenure-track positions and hosts a number of leading scholars as visiting faculty from our partner schools every year. Faculty in the Strategy Area conduct research with a variety of approaches in strategy, organization theory, international business, innovation, and entrepreneurship, including management in developing and transition economies. Professors have multiple disciplinary backgrounds, and enjoy a high level of independence in their research and teaching endeavors. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: (1) Ph.D. degree (completed or expected by Fall 2010) in Management, Strategy, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Organization Theory, or a related field; (2) a strong record of research publication, or demonstrated potential to conduct and publish high quality and innovative research; (3) evidence of effective teaching.

Doctoral candidates should submit a sample chapter or paper from their dissertation.
