Basic social and economic statistics are available on the site free of charge, however, the user must purchase additional detailed statistics. Available in Dutch and limited English.

Suriname: Ministry of Trade & Industry

The Ministry of Trade & Industry works to strengthen the competitive position of the business community established in Suriname by facilitating access to production factors and promoting the sale of goods and services.  This resource provides information for entrepreneurs and consumers as well as tips on setting up business and links to other helpful websites, but the bulk of the information is available in Dutch only.

The Suriname Business Development Center aims to promote the development of a competitive local private sector to achieve economic growth. The website provides an overview of the organization's training, seminars and workshops as well as documentation and meeting agendas. Please note that some sections of the website are not populated with information. Available in Dutch and English.
