Sjöberg discusses the reasons behind SSAB HardTech's decision build a subsidiary in Michigan (tax abatement, customer base location, shipping costs). He speaks on the benefits of having more functions such as production and management in one place. Two issues Sjöberg addresses in relation to management are sensitivity to cultural differences and team management. He also highlights the ability of companies to stay competitive in the global market even if they are producing from countries with higher labor costs such as the United States.
