Farmingdale State College, a campus of the State University of New York, is a coeducational, public college of applied science and technology with an enrollment of more than 7,900 undergraduate students and a rich history of over 76,000 graduates. Job Description: Farmingdale State College invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in International Business at the Assistant Professor level. Excellent communications and collaboration skills are required. Ability to develop and teach a range of courses in international business including introductory and upper level courses in one or more of the following areas including International Business, International Management, International Marketing, International Supply Chain Management and International Finance.

All faculty members at Farmingdale State College have three workload components: teaching, research and scholarly activity, and service. Service includes advising students as well as serving on departmental and college wide committees. The successful candidate will demonstrate an interest and high level of competence in teaching. Candidates should have a research agenda that complements their area of academic specialty and has the potential for peer-reviewed publications and presentations, both of which are necessary for promotion and tenure at Farmingdale State College.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in International Business, Business, or Management with research interest in International Business from AACSB accredited school and an established research agenda required. ABD with all degree requirements completed including the dissertation defense by the date of appointment will be considered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Established record of scholarship and publications in the field. Previous college teaching experience and knowledge of course instructional technologies and online course management systems such as Blackboard or Angel. Industry related experience is a plus.

Additional Information: This is a full-time, 10 month faculty position.
