SKEMA Business School is an EQUIS and AACSB-accredited academic institution. SKEMA is one of Europe’s fastest growing business schools. It currently operates on three continents with campuses in France (Sophia Antipolis, Lille and Paris), China (Suzhou) and the US (Raleigh – NC State campus). The school offers a wide range of management programs, taught in English and in French, at Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels, as well as Executive Education. More than 6000 students are currently enrolled in the school’s programs worldwide. The faculty at SKEMA is composed of 160 professors. The expertise of our faculty enables us to provide educational programs which reflect the opportunities and challenges of the global economic environment.

The Suzhou campus :   Located in one of the most advanced centers of technology across the globe : home to 118 of the top 500 companies in the world. 1 hour from Shanghai More than 450 students (French and international) 3 MSc Programs : International Business (Doing Business in China), Luxury and Fashion Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation in a Sustainable World. An international team (20 persons) dedicated to academic services and support services 8 classrooms designed for interactive language learning with a small number of students ; lecture theatres for 130 students as well as other large rooms on the second floor, a theatre and a cafeteria.

Main responsibilities of the appointee :   To teach courses at Master level in Intercultural Management and/or International Business with a focus on China. To contribute to the development of high-quality courses and programs in his/her field of expertise To control and supervise MSc students and students’groupwork. To make significant intellectual contributions and publications, especially in peer-reviewed journals. To participate to the institutional campus life (internal / external)

Skills and Knowledge :  Hold a doctorate or PhD in Organization Behavior or Management, with a focus on cross-cultural management or cultural aspects in doing business in China Knowledge of the business context in China (via consulting activities or previous industry experience) will be taken into special consideration Demonstrate the ability to deliver excellent teaching in English at different levels, keen to interact with students and provide a strong commitment to engage in innovative teaching. An experience of teaching in post-graduate programs will be strongly appreciated. Be able to manage multicultural groups of students. Be able to work in an international and multicultural team. Have published articles in peer reviewed journals, or demonstrate a potential to publish in international reviews by the high-quality work in progress. Duties will be based in Suzhou, China (Jiangsu)
