Job Description

The University of Central Florida invites applications for the position of lecturer of international business in the College of Business Administration’s Department of Finance and Dr. Phillips School of Real Estate. We anticipate one position available at our main Campus in Orlando Florida. Our international business lecturer position is a nine-month, non-tenure-earning position. Minimum qualifications include a doctorate degree in international business or a closely related field preferred and recent teaching experience in international business at the university level. Applicants must demonstrate excellence in teaching. The successful applicant must be academically qualified under both SACS and AACSB standards to teach international business at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY: UCF is a comprehensive, metropolitan university. With more than 60,000 students, UCF is the second largest university in the country in terms of enrollment. In addition to the 1,445 acre main campus in suburban Orlando, UCF has numerous regional sites in locations such as Daytona Beach, Cocoa, MetroWest, Palm Bay, Lake Mary and South Lake County. ABOUT THE COLLEGE: With some 8,000 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students enrolled, the UCF College of Business Administration is one of the largest AACSB-accredited business colleges in the nation. The college offers part-time, executive and professional MBA programs as well as master’s degrees in accounting, management, real estate, taxation, and sports business management. The college also offers a Ph.D. in business administration with tracks in accounting, finance, management, and marketing. The Finance Department (which includes the Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate) has 16 faculty members including 12 tenured individuals. In addition to the Ph.D. in Finance degree, the department offers a Professional Masters of Real Estate (P.M.R.E.) degree and undergraduate degrees in finance and real estate.
