Job Description

The University of Toulouse 1 Capitole (UT1) invites applications from candidates of international research standing for an open rank position (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) within its Strategy Department of the School of Management (www.iae-toulouse.fr).

IAE Toulouse offers degrees in management at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level for both full time higher education and executive education students. Thanks to its Center of Research in Management (CRM), which is accredited by the CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) as one of the leading management research centers in France and its affiliated Doctoral School of Management, IAE Toulouse is able to provide excellent research conditions. IAE Toulouse has a global perspective and fosters international exchanges through both the achievement of excellence in research and the provision of educational opportunities with an international focus.

Profile

We are seeking a colleague who has strong research interests in the theory development and practice of strategic management. Depending on the level of the position, the new professor will be expected to contribute to our master’s and PhD programs, supervise doctoral students, participate in the activities of the Faculty and University and conduct research in the area of his/her interest. The candidate should either have an international publication record or demonstrate an outstanding publication potential. Knowledge of French is an asset but not a requirement.

Teaching load

A full professorship corresponds to a total of 128 teaching hours a year. Assistant professors have a half teaching load for the first three years of their appointment.
