Job Description

The College of Business Administration at The University of Akron invites applications for an assistant professor (tenure-track) position in Strategic Management beginning August 2016 (pending budgetary approval). The successful candidate will have:

  1. A Ph.D. (or ABD with imminent degree completion) in Management or related field
  2. A strong record of, or potential for, high quality research in the field of strategy
  3. Demonstrate the capability for high quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, and
  4. The ability to interact well with students, colleagues, and the business community.
  5. Business experience is a plus.
