Job Description

The University of Lethbridge is seeking applications for one tenure track position at the Assistant Professor rank in International Management on our Calgary Campus beginning on July 1, 2016. The successful candidate will be required to teach introductory and advanced courses within the International Management field. Candidates should possess a PhD before our anticipated start date but we will consider highly qualified ABD candidates.    The applicant must have a demonstrated ability to conduct high quality scholarly research and a commitment to innovative and effective teaching. Faculty of Management                                     

The Faculty of Management values both teaching and research excellence and maintains close ties with the community through our experiential programs.  Students have the opportunity to concentrate their studies in several majors and minors, including that of International Management. There are approximately 55 full-time faculty and 2100 undergraduate majors located on our Lethbridge and Calgary campuses.  The Faculty of Management supports cross-disciplinary research and encourages faculty to work with graduate students in our research-based M.Sc. in Management program. Calgary Campus

The Faculty of Management has campuses in Lethbridge (main campus), Calgary, and Edmonton; all three campuses are governed under the same policies and procedures. Classes on the Calgary campus are offered exclusively during evenings and weekends, providing faculty with a flexible timetable for engaging in research and other academic activities.  Approximately 750 students attend the Calgary Campus.  Nearly all of the students are working adults.
