Job Description

The College of Business and Technology at The University of Texas at Tyler (UT Tyler) invites applicants to apply for a full-time assistant or associate professor at salary commensurate with experience. Expected start is Spring 2017. Exceptional candidates could be accommodated in either Fall 2016 or Fall 2017. Review of applications will begin immediately and the position will remain open until filled.

Qualifications: Ph.D. or D.B.A. in international business, management, or related field from an AACSB accredited institution (ABD candidates close to completion will be considered).

Responsibilities: The ideal candidate should be committed to excellence in teaching and research, and have the potential to publish in high quality outlets. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, face-to-face and online. There is a preference for candidates with a strong interest in international business and a secondary interest in human resource management.

UT Tyler is a component of the University of Texas System and is located in the beautiful East Texas lake country on I-20 corridor, about 100 miles east of the Dallas and 200 miles north of Houston. Tyler is economically strong and rapidly growing community with a population of 100,000. The College of Business and Technology houses five academic departments, with a student population of 2100 students and more than 60 full-time faculty and staff members.
