The Department of Management in the Bryan School of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) invites applications, expressions of interest, and nominations for up to three full-time, tenure-track openings in Management. Areas of particular interest are Strategy, International Business and Organizational Behavior. The position(s) will commence on August 1, 2017, at the rank of assistant or associate professor.

For all positions applicants should hold a PhD/DBA degree with a specialization in the given area from an AACSB Accredited business school. Related business and teaching experience and evidence of successful refereed journal scholarship are preferred (required for associate professor candidates). The ability to tie one’s teaching and research to key elements of our mission (problem solving, innovation, globalization, sustainability, and ethics) and an interest in working with student consulting projects will be considered positively. ABDs who are assured of completion by August 1, 2017, may be considered.

The Department of Management has a large online undergraduate degree program and teaching online courses is a requirement for all three positions. An additional consideration for the Strategy opening is a demonstrated interest in decision-making in organizations and/or innovation. An additional consideration for the International Business opening is a focus on cross-cultural and multicultural topics and/or innovation. An additional consideration for the Organizational Behavior position is a demonstrated interest in such topics as organizational change, negotiations, ethics, innovation, and leader behaviors such as self-awareness.
