Job Description

The School of Business and Economics invites applications for a W1 Junior Professorship for International Human Resource Management to be filled by the earliest possible starting date for an initial period of three years. Depending on successful evaluation the appointment will be extended for another three years.

The successful candidate is expected to represent the field of International Human Resource Management adequately in teaching and research. A focus on behavioral aspects is preferred. The professor will be expected to actively contribute to the internationalization of the school. Relevant research and teaching experience and the ability to publish articles in highly-ranked international journals is required. It is expected that the candidate will teach in English. Knowledge of German is an advantage. International applicants are expected to learn German within the first three years after appointment. Prerequisites for the position are a university degree, university level teaching experience and a doctoral degree in international business, a management-related discipline or another discipline of social science. Compensation and employment conditions are in accordance with the German Public Service Law.
