American Association of Community Colleges

The AACC is the national organization that supports community colleges through various policy initiatives, research, and outreach programs. It currently represents almost 1,200 institutions and 13 million students. Their website includes information about the organization, accredited colleges they represent, advocacy information, and research publications. The website also has a section with tools and resources pertaining to community college issues.

Community Colleges for International Development (CCID)

CCID is an organization that supports building relationships between community college programs and the international community through professional development, special training, conferences, and economic development. In addition to services for staff and faculty, they also provide services for students including study abroad.

League for Innovation in the Community College

The League for Innovation in the Community College is a catchall support organization for community college activity. The organization is responsible for conducting research, developing web resources, producing publications, and hosting conferences. In addition, they also lead projects and initiatives with member colleges, corporate partners, and private agencies.

MERLOT Business Portal is a resource designed to assist educators in finding learning materials, technology tips, teaching strategies, and additional tools to help promote international business education. National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship

The NACCE is a non-profit organization that supports entrepreneurial education in community colleges. In addition to publishing a free online journal on community college issues, the organization also hosts conferences, seminars, and webinars on a variety of topics dealing with entrepreneurship and education.

North American Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE)

NASBITE's objective is to help the professional development of international trade educators, trainers, and service providers, as well as to promote an exchange of information and resources by those involved in international trade education and assistance. They coordinate and administer the Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) credential, and provide support through training and study material. The organization also holds an annual conference.
