Our featured country this month is Sweden.

The home of origin to an impressive list of well known multinational
companies including ABB, Electrolux, Ericsson, Volvo, Scania and Pharmacia,
Sweden is a world leader in information technology. According to OECD,
Science Technology & Industry 2001, Sweden leads the world rankings as the
country with the most advanced knowledge-based economy and IT
infrastructure.

Sweden became a member of the European Union in 1995 and is one of the 3
countries including Denmark and Britain that have not adopted the euro.
