How the 2001 Terrorist Attacks Affected the Michigan/Ontario Regional Economy

February 2003 - Presented by Tom Quinn, International Trade Officer, Canadian Consulate General, Detroit. Tom Quinn will give an overview of the regional economy, give an account of what transpired at the border, and discuss how some of these issues were handled in the wake of the 9/11 events. Drawing on his expertise and experience, he will also outline ongoing plans for improving security and business traffic flows between the U.S. and Canada.
