Ms. Myers indicates that the world is not getting smaller because of technological advancement, but because of rapid expansion. Since many areas of our global society have improved, the needs for innovation and knowledge are now more crucial for success today than ever before. Myers also challenges us to look beyond the ease that technology has brought to doing business, and more towards the challenges that globalization presents.
