The site also includes information for small businesses in terms of planning, funding, regulatory concerns, and marketing/sales.

The International Traders of Iowa (ITI) works with businesses in Iowa to promote world trade. The organization holds forums to exchange information and works to teach and encourage practices such as exporting and importing, as well as involvement with international corporations.

The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) provides useful information on doing business in Iowa. The site contains information regarding the business advantages of Iowa, leading industries, quality of life, and programs provided by the IEDA.

The Iowa Small Business Development Center, which has a number of offices all over Iowa, provides services to small businesses such as counseling and training for a variety of reasons, such as starting or growing a business. Some of these workshops have a cost.
