Job Description

The Management Department in the Lutgert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University is in the process of expanding its International Business/Management programs and invites applications for 3 faculty positions in International Business/Management starting in January and August 2019. One of the goals of the department is to develop a degree in Global Management with International Business concentrations at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Senior Assistant / Associate / Full Professor in International Business/Strategy
Ph.D. degree from an AACSB accredited institution in international business or strategic management with research and teaching focus on international business/management is required. Demonstrated record for high-impact scholarly research and excellent teaching in the field of international business/management/strategy is preferred. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in international business/management/strategy. Service to the department, college, university, and the profession is expected. Assistant / Associate Professor in Management with focus on Human Resources/Organizational Behavior from Cross-Cultural Perspectives

Ph.D. degree from an AACSB accredited institution in management and organizational behavior/human resources is required. Demonstrated record for high-impact scholarly research and excellent teaching in the field of management and international business is preferred. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in organizational behavior/human resources as well as international business/management. Service to the department, college, university, and the profession is expected. Senior Associate / Full Visiting Professor Position in Global Business
Ph.D. degree from an AACSB accredited institution in international business, management or related field with a strong research and teaching record in the field of international business/management is required. This is a visiting position for the spring 2019 semester. Teaching responsibilities include two graduate courses, one of which a specialized MBA seminar in the successful candidate’s field of expertise. Program and curriculum development expertise in the field of international business/management expected to facilitate the development of a Global Management Department and international business/management programs. The Management Department currently has 17 full-time faculty members in the fields of international business/management, strategic management, organizational behavior, human resource management, entrepreneurship and business ethics. The department’s goal to develop a Global Management degree program is aligned with the strategic focus on international business education and research espoused by the State of Florida, Florida Gulf Coast University, and the Lutgert College of Business. The Department of Management is one of five departments and two schools in the Lutgert College of Business, and houses the largest undergraduate major on campus, with over 1,000 students.
