Job Description

The Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University and the Department of Management invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Management, with an emphasis in Strategy, commencing in September 2014. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarly work and service to the school/university. Teaching scope includes undergraduate and MBA Business Policy and Strategy capstone classes, and secondary areas of interest include but are not limited to international business or entrepreneurship. Candidates should show capability to develop an active, high-quality research program. Experience or willingness to teach hybrid and/or project-based classes is desired. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the potential to become an excellent educator and scholar. We seek a person with an earned Ph.D. in Management (or closely related field), but ABDs will be considered.
