Job Description

The Department of Management wishes to recruit a person whose scientific and professional interests lie in project management.

Project management involves the application of knowledge, tools, skills and techniques in activities, and to achieve or exceed the expectations of stakeholders. This requires project managers to integrate applications sometimes difficult to reconcile in terms of time, cost, quality, needs or requirements. In an environment of increasingly complex and evolving, project management has become, for many public and private organizations (including NGOs), a key element of their strategy. This allows them to operate, innovate yet to adapt to the vagaries of their contexts. The management department therefore wishes to recruit a person who may participate in the advancement of knowledge on the subject and ensure the transfer of this knowledge to the students, managers and more broadly practitioners.

JOB DESCRIPTION - Teaching and coaching students to the three academic cycles.

  1. Research and publication in fields related to the position.
  2. Participation in educational and administrative activities of the management unit and of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences.
  3. Participation in external activities of an academic nature contributing to the influence of the Faculty and the University.

SELECTION CRITERIA - Doctorate in administration science or a related field whose work focuses on the project management. Applications from people who are already well advanced in their doctoral studies will be considered.

  • Proven ability to research through research grants and / or publications in journals with reading committees in the field.
  • Proven ability to university education.
  • Ability and interest to teach executives exercise.
  • Ability to teach in French.
  • Ability and interest to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Project management experience would be an asset.

CONDITIONS OF ENGAGEMENT AND TREATMENT - Regular full-time position partial clearance training for the first year
