Regulatory Agency Sites
The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation conducts numerous studies every year with the objective of trying to determine the best policies for the development of the Egyptian agriculture industry. This site includes all of their publications as well as contact information for the ministry. Only available in Arabic.
The Ministry of Health and Population is charged with the oversight and regulation of the Egyptian healthcare industry. This site contains information on regulation, guidelines, and educational handouts. Available in Arabic only.
Egypt's National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences (NARSS) is the pioneering Egyptian institution in the field of satellite remote sensing. The sector of remote sensing works on data provided by earth observation satellites to produce maps and spatial data for evaluation of natural resources and natural hazards. The sector of space science develops sensors for earth observation to be mounted on satellites, and it also deals with problems involving communication with satellites.
The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) oversees telecommunications in Egypt. The three main responsibilities of the NTRA are policy and licensing, competition safeguards, and interconnection regulation between licensed operators. This site provides updates on the industry as well as a list of approved devices and various forms.
The Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) regulates and supervises non-banking financial markets. This site provides information covering microfinance, pension funds, and insurance.

The Industrial Modernization Center (IMC) supports industry enterprises in Egypt through business development programs. The IMC provides a section dedicated to programs for various industries and businesses. There is also information on the different industrial sectors.
