The Ministry of Health and Social Work is responsible for overseeing legislation on health, public welfare, and environmental health in Senegal. It also monitors companies that produce medical products and institutions that offer medical services. Resource only available in French.
The Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications and Posts (ARTP) promotes fair competition for the benefit of telecommunications users in Senegal. The ARTP promotes jobs and drafts laws and regulations regarding telecommunications and posts. The ARTP also makes regulatory decisions regarding equipment, conditions for licensing, and determining abuses.
The Central Bank of the West African States (BCEAO) is the common central bank of the eight member states which form the West African Economic and Monetary Union: Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, and Togo. The site provides information on interest rates and inflation, money market securities, and currency rates. Additionally, this site contains an economic and financial database as well as recent financial publications. Site only available in French.
