Regulatory Agency Sites

The Ministry of Health and Social Work is responsible for overseeing legislation on health, public welfare, and environmental health in Senegal. It also monitors companies that produce medical products and institutions that offer medical services. Resource only available in French.

The Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications and Posts (ARTP) promotes fair competition for the benefit of telecommunications users in Senegal. The ARTP promotes jobs and drafts laws and regulations regarding telecommunications and posts. The ARTP also makes regulatory decisions regarding equipment, conditions for licensing, and determining abuses.

The Central Bank of the West African States (BCEAO) is the standard central bank of the eight member states which form the West African Economic and the Monetary Union: Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, and Togo. The site provides information about monetary policy and markets, financial stability, payment systems, and the banking and financial system. In addition, the site offers relevant publications, research and studies, and an economic and financial database.
