Surrey Business School is an internationally recognised centre for management research and teaching. We are accredited by AACSB (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and by AMBA (the Association of MBAs). With over 100 academic staff members from around the globe, we are growing strongly both in terms of size and in terms of the quality, reach and impact of our work. Based in Guildford just outside of London, the University of Surrey is an outstanding international University with an enterprising spirit.
The Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship encompasses a broad field with diverse research and teaching interests. It unites around a shared interest in the ways in which businesses and other organisations flourish in an increasingly complex global environment. With interests spanning start-ups to international corporations and social enterprises to global institutions, members of the Department focus on the ways in which enterprising behaviours are created, adapted and applied to suit the demands of fast moving environments.
This is a period of exciting development and opportunity for Surrey Business School and the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. The successful candidates will be central to both widening and deepening International Business research outputs and impact. Currently, our International Business research focuses on foreign direct investment, knowledge transfer and multinational enterprises and globalisation and the convergence/divergence of global standards. We offer a generous remuneration package, funding for conference attendance, the latest teaching facilities, and access to a variety of staff development opportunities.
