Job Description

Nottingham University Business School China

We are a young business school with a strong international and research orientation. Our faculty of over 100 staff come from 25 countries, and our students are a mix of international and Chinese students. English is the medium of instruction for all our programs. We are part of the EQUIS and AMBA accredited Nottingham University Business School. Campuses in the UK, Malaysia, and here in Ningbo, China work closely together and offer University of Nottingham degrees. Apart from an international teaching environment, we focus on research excellence. We have a vibrant research community and provide research support to all staff members, while a research excellence scheme provides even further support in terms of research funding and additional conference visits. We are the international academic gateway for research on business, finance and economics in China and a centre of experience on Chinese firms going global. Our faculty publish in leading journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Finance, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior and Journal of Business Ethics. Leading academics from Europe, the US, and Asia visit us to give research seminars and undertake joint research. In the 2018 Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities for Management, NUBS China by itself was ranked #16 in the world for international collaboration and #83 for research impact measured by citations. Our annual PhD intake is 25-30 new students with about half supported by university scholarships.
