The Endowed Professorship of Strategic Management at the Technical University of Munich (TUM)
School of Management invites applications for postdoc positions beginning in April 2022 (or earlier/later by mutual agreement) at the TUM Campus Heilbronn. We are looking for international scholars who are pleasant to work with, who are interested in the areas of strategic management, global strategy, and/or family firms, and who have a track record or strong ambition to conduct impactful research that will be published in leading international research outlets.
The postdoc position is funded for a duration of up to 48 months. The teaching load is one course per semester. Applicants need to have completed their doctoral degree by the start date (or will complete their degree within the next 12 months after the start date). The Endowed Professorship of Strategic Management offers a highly collegial and stimulating environment, generous research funding, and access to a sizeable pool of research and student assistants. Furthermore, the professorship maintains a large and active international network with leading scholars in international business and strategic management.
The TUM Campus is located in the lovely city of Heilbronn in Southern Germany, which is known for its high standard of living, industrial agglomeration (in particular of family firms), and local wineries. TUM School of Management is a leading German business school with faculty members that frequently publish in top academic journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of International Business Studies, Management Science, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal. Moreover, TUM School of Management has access to major research databases and close ties to industry.
