Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of International Business

The International Business Department in the School of Business and Economics in Universidad de las Americas Puebla (UDLAP) invites applicants for the tenure-track position of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor starting in August 2025. UDLAP is one of the top-ranked private universities in Mexico and Latin America, accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The university is located on the outskirts of Puebla City, in a secure area, approximately two hours from Mexico City.

Duties and Responsibilities: The department seeks a candidate who excels in both teaching and research within a supportive and collaborative environment. The new faculty member will be responsible for:

  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in International Business.
  • Maintaining active research agendas resulting in publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Advising students.
  • Contributing service to the university.

Minimum requirements:

  • Ph.D. in International Business or Business Administration with an emphasis on International Business or related field. ABDs will be considered if the degree will be completed by the start of the appointment.
  • Ability to teach general courses in Global Strategy, Cross-Cultural Management, Foreign Trade, International Logistics, and Global Supply Chain at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Proficiency in teaching courses in English.
  • Publications in the aforementioned fields.
