The Richard Ivey School of Business seeks candidates for a probationary (tenure-track) Assistant Professor or tenured Associate or Professor appointment in the area of International Business. The position is available to begin July 2013. Candidates for the tenure-track appointment must have a Ph.D., or be very close to completion. A tenured appointment requires a strong and active research record with significant publications. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the practice of management in both research and teaching. Demonstrated research interest in international business/global strategy areas is highly valued, and the ability to teach international business courses is essential. Teaching experience with case studies is particularly valued. Qualified candidates for Visiting and Limited Term appointments will also be considered.

The School’s major degree program activities include: a highly regarded MBA program, a prestigious two-year undergraduate program; a well established doctoral program; and an Executive MBA delivered in Toronto and Hong Kong. The Canadian Executive MBA facilities are located at the Exchange Tower in downtown Toronto. The position is subject to budget approval. Applicants must have fluent written and oral communication skills in English.
