The Centre for International Business at the University of Leeds (CIBUL) in the United Kingdom is inviting expressions of interest for Assistant and Associate Professorships in International Business. We are particularly interested in hearing from potential candidates in international strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship and emerging multinationals, although any area of international business will be actively considered. Successful candidates will eventually be engaged in high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, research and PhD supervision. The positions are subject to budgetary approval. We will be holding informal pre-interview discussions with interested candidates during the AIB Conference in Washington between 29th June and 3rd July.
Qualifications: Candidates should hold or should anticipate completing a Ph.D. in international business or a related field and publications in referred, quality journals. Potential candidates for Associate Professorships should have an established record of quality research and teaching while candidates for Assistant Professorships should be promising scholars, as evidenced by some publications and publication potential, and experience in teaching.
Founded in 1995, CIBUL is a world leading research centre headed by Professor Peter J Buckley at the University of Leeds. CIBUL is home to 13 full time academic staff from diverse disciplinary backgrounds that share a common interest in the exploration of international business in the context of globalization and emerging economies. We offer two highly successful BSc and MSc programmes in international business, as well as a full PhD programme.
