The School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a tenure-track Marketing faculty position, starting July 1, 2013. Qualifications for this position include a Ph.D. or completion of a Ph.D. in Marketing or related field within a year. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a highly productive research agenda that complements the profile of our Marketing Area. The successful candidate will also provide effective teaching to undergraduate and MBA students, and potentially, in the PhD programme.

We are specifically looking for a candidate with strong quantitative skills and with research interests in one or more of the following areas: Brand Management, B2B Marketing, Marketing Strategy Services Marketing, International Marketing, and New Product Development/Management. The School has over one hundred full-time faculty and more than three thousand undergraduate and graduate students on campuses in Waterloo, Brantford and Toronto, Ontario. As of July 2012, the Marketing Area consists of 13 tenured or tenure-track faculty, including a Tier II Canada Research Chair and a large number of talented adjunct teaching staff. Waterloo, where the main campus is located, is a highly innovative and dynamic region. It is the home to a number of leading high technology firms, insurance companies and educational/research institutions (e.g. University of Waterloo, the Balsillie School of International Affairs and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics).
