The Department of Management of ESSEC Business School seeks to fill two tenure-track positions, one for our Paris campus and one for our Singapore campus, effective September 2016. Applicants should indicate their campus choice. Both positions are offered at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the following areas: Strategy, Entrepreneurship, International Business

Applicants must demonstrate ability to conduct high quality research and the potential to teach in an international environment. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate courses in strategy or entrepreneurship. Knowledge of French is not required.

The application deadline is September 30th, 2015. Interested candidates should send applications (CV, research statement, a sample of publications and/or working papers, and three letters of recommendation) electronically to essec.mgt.fr@essec.edu. They will mention which position they apply to: Singapore, Paris or both.

We will also be conducting initial informal interviews at the Academy of Management (AOM) and at the Strategic Management  Society meetings. Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest along with a curriculum vitae and a sample of scholarly work by July 24, 2015. The Management department at ESSEC Business School consists of 34 full time faculty with expertise in strategy, entrepreneurship, human resources, organizational behavior and organizational theory. Members of the Management department have published in leading journals and are highly involved in its PhD program. The department also has strong links with departments of economics and public and private policy, for complementary research and teaching activities on labor markets, philanthropy and social entrepreneurship. This includes Chairs in Diversity and Leadership, Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship and a research Center on Capitalism, Globalization and Governance.
