The School of Management at the University of San Francisco seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position in the field of International Business, to begin in the Fall of 2016.

Applicants should have successful experience teaching International Business as well as a  record of scholarly achievement or the demonstrated potential for attaining such. Business experience is a plus. The successful candidate will be assigned to the Department of Economics, Law & International Business and will have the opportunity to teach and develop courses closely related to her/his research.

A successful candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications: (1) an earned research doctorate (Ph.D.) in International Business or a closely related field by the time of appointment; (2) an established or emerging active research program and pipeline with a career trajectory in a relevant topic area; and, (3) an expectation of, or clear record of, excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidate will be expected to conduct and undertake scholarly research in a collaborative and supportive environment that welcomes interdisciplinary and practice-oriented scholarship as well as discipline-based, theoretical work.

A research focus on the strategies and globalization of Chinese businesses, especially Chinese businesses entering the North American market, is a plus.
