Job Description:
Roosevelt University seeks a new Assistant Professor tenure-track faculty to build the Human Resources and Entrepreneurship programs. The Heller College, a teaching focused school currently ACBSP accredited, has made significant strides towards the goal of AACSB accreditation and is working on new strategic directions for each of the disciplines within the departments. Major Chicago firms, from which over 80 industry leaders serve on the School's two Advisory Boards, are a key element in achieving this goal. The Heller College is a member of the United Nations PRME initiative.
Roosevelt University Heller College of Business is a leader in developing a diverse population of professionals to serve in a wide array of positions in industry. The College offers the Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE), Human Resource Management (MSHRM), Accounting (MSA) and a new degree this fall; Master of Accounting Forensics (MSAF) as well as a Master of Business Administration with a variety of concentrations and an undergraduate degree (BSBA) with majors in Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Management, Accounting and Marketing. These are offered on two sites; Schaumburg and downtown Chicago. Currently the college has about 1600 students, approximately 50% of whom are graduate students across both campuses.
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will hold a terminal degree appropriate to their field of study, ABD is acceptable.
Preference will be given to candidates with research and/or expertise in diversity, international business, strategy or sustainable business issues as a part of their research or practical experience.
Applicants must provide evidence of successful teaching, evidence of professional service and involvement and high-quality research in refereed publications is essential.
An endowed chair can be conferred upon the outstanding candidate.
