The School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Jacobs University Bremen invites applications for a Professorship in Business Administration (m/f) The successful candidate must have an international track record of excellence in research and teaching in at least one of the core fields of Business Administration (i.e. Management, Organization, Marketing). The candidate is expected to engage in high quality research. He/she will take responsibility for business administration modules in a variety of programs offered at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, specifically for the new BA program Global Economics & Management, which aims at a transdisciplinary understanding of global economic challenges, with an emphasis on sustainable development and responsible leadership. Salary and professorial rank will be commensurate with qualification and experience. The annual teaching load is three courses at three hours each. Language of instruction is English. The successful candidate shall begin in August 2010. An initial contract will cover seven years.
