The School of Commerce forms part of the UniSA Business School and incorporates the disciplines of Accounting, Economics, Finance, International Business and Property. The School offers undergraduate majors in these disciplines as well as postgraduate degrees. The Schools programs are designed in consultation with our network of industry and professional partners.

The School is seeking to appoint an outstanding scholar to the position of Senior Lecturer in International Business. In this role you will make significant contributions to the teaching, research and leadership activities of the School of Commerce. You will be actively involved in the development and delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in International Business and you will be expected to secure research grants and work with the International Business community.

Suitably qualified applicants with expertise in the following areas are invited to apply:

  • globalisation and the international business environment
  • the political, economic, and technological features of international business
  • the role of multi-lateral institutions such as the IMF, World Bank and World Trade Organisation
  • foreign direct investment
  • outsourcing and supply chain management
  • international business strategies including entry, development, and control systems; international economics; and business strategy
  • the role of multinational corporations
