The Automotive Institute for Management (AIM), newly founded at EBS, and the Department of Strategy, Organization and Leadership, are seeking to appoint a new faculty member with dual affiliation in the rank of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR for Strategy in the Automotive Industry
Requirements
This position, with a particular focus on the automotive industry, requires a doctoral degree with a specialization in strategy from a leading university or business school. Applicants should have an outstanding record from a PhD, DBA or dissertation program, ideally with experience in the automotive and/ or mobility-related area. An international orientation in research and teaching is required. Successful candidates have the ability to play a significant role in research projects and management, develop the research skills of existing staff, acquire external research grants and supervise research students. You should be capable of conducting quality research to establish a record of refereed publications in recognized international journals, and demonstrating excellence and innovation in quality teaching. The new faculty member is expected to contribute to the research and teaching activities of the Automotive Institute for Management’s and of the Department of Strategy, Organization and Leadership. The Department of Strategy, Organization and Leadership at EBS, headed by Professor Ansgar Richter, offers a vibrant and collaborative research environment.
