The J.E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics is to the forefront of developments in the fourth level of business education in Ireland. Within the School, the Marketing Discipline offers specialisms in a range of programmes, including B. Comm. Degree, MSc. Marketing, Executive MBA, Higher Diploma in Business Studies, and Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Practice programmes.

The Discipline is seeking applicants who have an outstanding international reputation in Marketing, strong academic leadership, excellent teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, a consistent record of academic research culminating in publications in prestigious peer reviewed journals, and evidence of generating external income. Successful candidates will be expected to add substantially to the research profile of the Discipline, School and College through their own activities as well as their ability to foster the development of research amongst colleagues and doctoral students. Required qualifications are a PhD in Marketing or cognate area.
