Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna)
The Institute for International Business (IIB) at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna) is currently inviting applications for a position at the Post-doc/Assistant Professor level. The successful candidate will provide support to the IIB faculty in teaching and administrative work while pursuing an active program of academic research. The teaching load for assistant professors is relatively low compared to international standards. English is the working language of the group and all courses are taught in English.
Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in business studies, psychology, or a related discipline, an excellent command of English language, have demonstrated potential to conduct top quality research, and an interest in the cultural and people aspects of international business. Candidates with proficiency in quantitative methods are particularly encouraged to apply.
Members of the IIB group are active in research in a variety of areas of international management and business. IIB faculty have published in leading journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Applied Psychology, among others. The IIB group also regularly hosts academic visitors from major North American, European and Asian universities.
