The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary is seeking qualified candidates to fill a tenure-track/tenured position at the Associate Professor level in the Strategy and Global Management Area. Exceptional candidates at the Assistant Professor level will also be considered.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in management or a related discipline (such as business economics or applied psychology), and a proven track record of publications in high impact management journals (especially Financial Times 45 journals). They must also provide evidence of effective teaching at the university-level.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach core undergraduate and graduate courses in strategy, with an additional focus on business sustainability (i.e., triple bottom line related) issues. She/he will also be expected to assume a leadership role in research and be available for university community service. The anticipated starting date is January 1 or July 1, 2012, but an earlier starting date can be considered for an exceptional candidate.
