The Strategic Management Department at the Fox School of Business, Temple University, is seeking to recruit for two tenure track positions starting academic year 2012-2013. While the ranks are open, we would prefer applicants who are either a senior assistant or a junior associate for the first position, and a senior associate or a full professor for the second position. For both positions, we are looking at faculty who work in the area of strategy with focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, and interest in global issues.

The ideal candidate for the senior associate/full professor position will be a proven leader in his/her field, with a substantial record of publications in top-tier journals, a strong pipeline of active research projects, and a background of successful Ph.D. student mentorship and placement. Strong teaching at the Ph.D., EMBA, and/or MBA levels is required. The ideal candidate for senior assistant/junior associate will have earned a Ph.D. about five-seven years ago, with several publications, including strong evidence of success in the top-tier journals. While proven teaching excellence at both the undergraduate and MBA levels is a must, evidence of working with PhD students is a plus.

The Fox School has made major strides in recent years, and we are among the top-ranked programs in International Business and Entrepreneurship. Philadelphia is an extremely attractive city, and we offer a competitive salary and a flexible starting date. Temple University is an equal opportunity employer. Kindly submit cover letter, CV, and three recommendation letters along with samples of your working papers to the department chair, Professor Arvind Parkhe, at aparkhe@temple.edu. The position will remain open until filled. However, we will start looking at candidates starting this fall.
