The Strategy/IB Group at Faculty of Business & Economics, The University of Hong Kong seeks outstanding candidates for a position at the associate professor/professor level. We are interested in exceptionally strong candidates in areas such as competitive and corporate strategy, global strategy, boundaries and organization of the firm, with a focus on strategies in emerging economies.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Strategy, IB, or Management, and should have a proven record of internationally recognized scholarship and teaching.  Appointees are expected to commit to high-quality scholarly research and to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered reflecting market rates.  Tenure can be granted on appointment for those who are tenured faculty members at their own institution.  Alternatively appointment can be on a contract basis for 3 to 6 years.  For both appointments, either a contract-end gratuity or contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary will be provided.  In addition, there are leave, medical/dental benefits and research funding benefits.  Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
