The Central Bank of Costa Rica, also known as Banco Central de Costa Rica (BCCR), is the financial institution in charge of currency issuance and maintaining economic stability. It also provides economic indicators, research papers and documents, legal frameworks, and publications. The majority of the site is only available in Spanish.

As part of the executive branch of Costa Rica, the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce, also known as Ministerio de Economia, Industria y Comercio (MEIC), is responsible for developing regulatory economic and social policies to protect consumers and encouraging competitiveness in the market. The MEIC site contains information about the ministry, its procedures and services, and public consultation. The site also provides data and the results of studies performed by the MEIC. The Ministry of Health, also known as Ministerio de Salud, oversees and regulates the healthcare industry within Costa Rica. This site contains press releases, regulations, and a listing of services for both citizens and businesses. 

Costa Rica’s National Institute of Statistics and Census, also known as Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos (INEC), manages the country’s national statistics. The INEC site provides statistics by categories such as the economy, society, environment, population, education, and households. Census data, publications, press releases, surveys, and methodologies are also provided. Site available in English and Spanish.

The National Stock Exchange of Costa Rica website, also known as Bolsa Nacional de Valores (BNV), provides market indices for companies and investors, statistics, news, and press releases. Only available in Spanish.

This is the official site of Costa Rica's government, also known as Presidencia de la República de Costa Rica. The site contains a breakdown of the administration's structure, press releases, publications, travel reports, the national development plan, open data, and links to government programs. Only available in Spanish.

Procomer is a public institution that facilitates the exportation of products and services from Costa Rica and investment abroad. The Procomer website provides information, advice, and tools for international buyers, exporters, and investors. The website also contains news and updates on trade. 

The Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE) is a non-profit organization that provides investment services for companies. The CINDE website contains information about the Costa Rican business climate, overviews of the different investment sectors, economic and government resources, and a directory of corporate service providers organized by industry.
